Please understand that there has been fighting going on many times when we are on pilgrimage and it has never affected us because the locations pilgrims visit are such a distance away from the areas of unrest. People who travel with us comment over and over again how safe they felt the whole time. You can see videos of real Holy Land pilgrims commenting on their safety here.

We received the letter below from the Government of Israel commenting about the situation reported on in the news recently.

The State of Israel has set out on a limited military action in the Gaza strip region in order to protect it’s citizens in order to restore peace to the region.

The situation is closely monitored by the Israeli security forces and is limited to a specific area in the south of Israel, and a safe distance from the regular and frequent tourism sites and routes.

At present there are more than 100,000 tourists traveling through the country undisturbed and more our plans to arrive.

In the event that there’s a change in the situation, detailed information and guidelines will be distributed.

The state of Israel is well prepared and committed to handle all scenarios and secure the safety and well-being of tourist.
