Holy Land Hotels
There are many hotels to choose from, but we have selected a only a handful that are good enough to host the Footprints of God pilgrims. While comfort and service are always at the top of the list, other factors we consider when selecting our hotels include location and Christian ownership. We want to be close the the most interesting places andactivities, and we try to support local christians whenever we can. We are also proud to limit the number of hotels that we move to and from during the trip so you can relax in the same room for a few nights in a row, not needing to pack up every day.
Galilee
There are three hotels around the Sea of Galilee area that we really like.
Ron Beach Hotel
Loved by all who have stayed here, the Ron Beach Hotel is a class act, modern conveniences, nicely designed rooms, and excellent service. It is owned by a Christian, my friend, Despite it’s its unusual name, the Ron Beach is the #1 hotel in Tiberias on TripAdvisor.com, click here to see the reviews.
The Ron Beach Hotel is listed #1 on TripAdvisor
Pilgerhaus
We also enjoy Pilgerhaus, a German-christian owned property, with an on-site chapel, contemplative gardens, and beautiful views of the Sea. Click here to read more about Pilgerhaus.
Nof Ginosar
This Kibbutz is farther outside of the city of Tiberias where there is lots of open space. You can see in the pictures that the grounds are expansive. The boat discovered from the time of Jesus is located right next door. As with all our chosen Galilee hotels you the property is bordered by the Sea.

Jerusalem
Occasionally we will stay at other hotels in Jerusalem, but we keep coming back to the The Notre Dame.
Notre Dame Hotel
There are other nice hotels in Jerusalem, but the Notre Dame is right beside the New Gate into the Old City, allowing pilgrims easy access to the Holy Sepulcher, and because it is owned by the Catholic Church.

Our Bus
When you think of a bus in the United States images of GreyHound or dirty public transit may come to mind. But these tour buses are in a totally different world. They are comfortable, smooth, clean, and modern…many of them made by Mercedes Benz. These buses are kept in tip-top shape by Asam, our driver, and his team. Also, our bus is like a mini home, away from home because the bus and driver are also consistant throughout the pilgrimage. Asam doesn’t mid if you leave personal items on the bus at night; he has always kept everything secure for us. He also remains nearby, unlike other drivers, who’s guide may not want to pay to have the driver stay in the same hotel as the pilgrims, we are sure to keep our driver happy and close by.
