A day hasn’t gone by when I haven’t thought about the Pilgrimage and the impact it has had on us. When the Transfiguration was the Gospel reading for a recent Sunday Mass, I could picture Mt. Tabor in my mind and I relived our group’s experience there. Scripture comes alive now. The DVD of our Pilgrimage just arrived in the mail. We can’t wait to view it! Really though that Steve did an outstanding job! Despite all the trips he has made, he still exhibits great joy and excitement in his delivery and sharing. I liked how he drew the parallels between the old and new testaments. The make-up of the whole pilgrimage had a very strong, spiritual base-daily Mass, saying the Rosary mysteries at the Holy Sites, a good spiritual director, etc… That was very important for me. Lastly and MOST IMPORTANT OF ALL, was that I did not have to wonder or worry as to whether what I was being told and taught was in full accordance with the Catholic Faith. Is there still time to join you in your April 22, 2012 pilgrimage to the Holy Land? We are a married couple who at the time will be in Spain and could travel to Israel from there and later travel back to Puerto Rico, our home. Thank you for your attention to this matter. God Bless.
