Beatitudes, Caesarea Philippi, Golan, Syrian Border, Multiplication, Primacy

by Steve Ray on February 2, 2018

With both groups together we had our first full day in Galilee. Of course, Mass at the Mount of Beatitudes is always special in the homily was especially good. You can hear it HERE.

Everyone had a great time – fun, devout, inquisitive and punctual group.

I gave my talk on “Peter: the Rock and the Keys” at Banias. At the Sea of Gallilee I gave my talk on Peter’s denial of Jesus and the meanings of the word love. Enjoy!

We are in Hallock, 6,096 miles west of your first full day of activities and the sensory overload must have many of you overwhelmed. I’m speechless. Thank you so much for posting these daily updates.

What an amazing experience! The homily by Fr. Vasek moved me to tears as well for your group to experience such a grace to be in that holy place. I pray for a blessed and moving journey for you all…especially Cindi and Mike Wavra. May God be with you.

    DeColores!
