Legatus Pilgrimage: Tabor, Cana, Nazareth

by Steve Ray on October 12, 2009

First, I want to thank Legatus for trusting us to bring their group on pilgrimage to the Holy Land. Everyone is very pleased. Second, I want to thank Corporate Travel (in USA) and Shepherds Tours (Israel) for working with me to arrange such an incredible and trouble-free trip. It is all about teamwork and this is the BEST team.

Today was the first full day of pilgrimage for Legatus. We went first to Mount Tabor where the Transfiguration took place. After that we went to Cana to renew wedding vows, then to lunch.

After lunch we went to Nazareth to tour the Church of Annunciation and the Church of St. Joseph where the Holy Family lived for the 30 silent years. After that Mass in front of the Grotto where the Angel Gabriel approached the little Jewish girl Mary with the Announcement.

After Mass we arrived back in Tiberias at 4 PM for a free late afternoon and evening. Great dinner. Some went swimming, others rested, others went for walks and runs along the sea.
