Hello! I love reading and watching about your travels! It sounds like you are having a wonderful time. We miss having you at home, but know you must be enjoying yourselves. I showed Madeleine that you were close to the see of Gallilee and we looked it up on our bible map. She thought that was so neat. James was not quite interesed, he just wondered if you were getting good donuts! Here’s a little joke to start your day: How much does it cost a pirate to get his ears pierced?

What an amazing journey you are all having and I am envious of what you are seeing, feeling and experiencing. In the spirit of what you saw today, Mom and Dad I love you, I love you, I love you. can’t wait to see you on Wednesday.

    Jean & Larry Skendzel,

The video coverage we are getting of your Pilgrimage is really great. We just viewed Day 3, Parts 1 & 2. Saw you two being very devout at the Mass of Beatitudes, and then coming off the bus at Caesarea Philippi. Was the Druze Bread Sandwich tasty? Larry, you were very intent on the process of making extra virgin olive oil which should come in handy in your bread making (I think). The view of the Sea of Galilee was inspiring. And you two sure looked like you were enjoying your dinner at Auberge Shulamit Restaurant. Continue to have a wonderful experience and keep us in your prayers.
    Love ya!!!!

To Judi Jarecki: Hi Mom! We really enjoyed watching today’s videos! It was really neat to see where the Jordan river begins and the explanation of how Jesus named Peter “rock” there. Learning alot from the videos, thanks so much for sharing them!
    God bless you,

May I be allowed to express vicarious thanks to Steve & Janet Ray, Father Bob, Father James, Amer, and everyone else who has helped put your wonderful journey together.
You pilgrims must be quite ecstatic – journeying in the homeland of the Lord; having Mass at the very place where the Word became flesh; visiting Cana, where the Best Wine Ever Made came into being; seeing where the loaves and the fish were multiplied; and even sailing on the Sea where He walked! Yes, the land of Israel – Eretz Yisrael – is indeed such a rich source of spiritual understanding! And the excellent videos make me feel like I’m actually part of your group, thus eliminating any chance for envy on my part! I stand in awe as a fellow pilgrim. Shalom in the name of our Lord!

P.S. Steve Ray, PLEASE finish telling on video the significance of the charcoal fire in John! You’ve KINDLED my curiosity.
