Touring Lisbon; Eucharistic Miracle; Arriving at Fatima

by Steve Ray on July 23, 2015

All the pilgrims arrived safely and in good shape. We boarded the bus and took a marvelous tour of Lisbon Portugal which is a beautiful and historic Catholic city. My favorite thing was a huge statue of Christ the King.

After an authentic Potugese lunch on the waterfront we went to see a Eucharistic miracle in Santerem, after which we arrived in Fatima where we had a nice time settling in at the best hotel in the city and a nice dinner.

Everyone is now sleeping and getting rested for a full day at Walking and praying in the footsteps of Our Lady and the four special children of Fatima – seeing all of the wonders of this powerful Marian apparition in 1917.

Also I am including the video of Msgr. Droll’s homily at the birthplace of St. Anthony in Lisbon.

I wish we could have gone on this wonderful pilgrimage. Please tell the Soul Sisters to keep all of our group us in their prayers and intentions. Pray especially for my sister-in-law. She had a growth removed at MD Anderson on Monday and she finds out next week if it is cancer. Her name is Teresa Stiglich.
