Transfiguration, Cana & Nazareth

by Steve Ray on April 9, 2010

Walking in the footprints of Jesus! What could be better! We are leading a bus full of great folks in the land of Our Lord. Today we started early for Mount Tabor — the Mountain of Transfiguration and the place of Great Commission (Matt 28:18-21).

Then to Cana to renew wedding vows and then to Nazareth. Here we had Mass above the House of the Holy Family and spent time at the Grotto where the Angel Gabriel came to announce the good news to Mary.

We got back to the hotel in time for the pilgrims to rest, walk along the Sea of Galilee and process all they had seen and prayed today. Lots of animated discussions at at most excellent dinner.

Stay tuned for another full day tomorrow! To follow us more closely, follow us at http://www.twitter.com/JerusalemJones or become a friend at http://www.facebook.com/JerusalemJones.

Enjoy this video of our pilgrimage today and see the beauty of this land, these wonderful pilgrims and the Catholic faith!
