Via Dolorosa Carrying our Crosses with Jesus; Mass at Tomb and MUCH more!

by Steve Ray on October 21, 2017

Started the day at 4:30 AM but everyone thanked us later 🙂  We did the Via Dolorosa (Stations of the Cross) through Jerusalem before the crowds arrived. We touched the top of Calvary where Jesus was crucified, took a full tour of the Holy Sepulchre and then….

…High Mass at the Tomb! When Bishop Kemme brought out the Eucharist from the inner tomb, we all saw Jesus come out of the Tomb again for us today!

After Mass we went back to the Notre Dame for breakfast, then to the Mount of Olives and then to the Church of St. Peter in Gallicantu where Peter denied Jesus and where our Lord was kept in prison over Holy Thursday.

Lunch at the Christian Rossini’s Restaurant inside Jaffa Gate and free time to explore and enjoy. Before dinner we had a tour of the Shroud of Turin display. Enjoy!
