Great breakfast, then Mass at St. Joseph’s Chapel.  Enervated the tombs of the three children in the basilica. Walking tour following the life and apparitions of the three little shepherds. Saw the hamlet of Aljustrel, where the children lived. Walked to Valinhos, the site of Our Lady’s appearance after the children’s return from prison and visited the church where the children were baptized. Lunch at a restaurant above a huge store that sells “everything Fatima“. It

So, we again embark on one of our favorite pilgrimages. They’re all great, but this one stands out for folks. Everybody gathered at 8 AM at the Lisbon Airport in Portugal. We boarded the bus and did a quick tour of Lisbon seeing the main sites, especially its Catholic history. Lunch. Our first stop was the Eucharistic Miracle of Santarem for Mass and to marvel. Good Morning! Full Irish breakfast. Walked to Grafton Street to celebrate Mass at St. Teresa’s Church. Short stroll and tour through Dublin to visit St. Patrick’s Cathedral where Jonathan Swift was once dean. Lunch in one of the many quaint restaurants and pubs. Guided tour of Dublin, then Mass in the Church of Our Lady Seat of Wisdom started by Cardinal John Henry Newman. Visited Trinity College to see the stunning Book of Kells. Lunch on own with lots of options. Toured the Guinness Brewery and Storehouse. Amazing multistory museum and display. Free late afternoon and evening.

Breakfast and load the bus. Several stops in route to Dublin. Starting with a walking tour of Medieval Kilkenny after our Mass at the Kilkenny Cathedral of St. Mary. Time in Kilkenny Design Centre. Free time for lunch, shopping, exploring or prayer. Over the heath-covered Wicklow Mountains. Guided tour of the 6th Century Monastic site of St. Kevin at Glendalough, then on to our lovely Iveagh Garden Hotel for a free evening.

Travel over the Cork/Kerry border to Blarney Castle to see and kiss the famous Blarney Stone Time to shop in the extensive Blarney Woolen Mills with gifts and crafts from throughout Ireland Then on to the impressive Rock of Cashel, Ireland’s most famous ancient religious site especially related to Saint Patrick where Steve gave his short talk on St. Patrick. We celebrated Mass in the beautifully restored Holy Cross Abbey and continued on to Kilkenny
