Ireland 7 Mass & Kilkenny Tour, Glendalough & St. Kevin, Dublin

Breakfast and load the bus. Several stops in route to Dublin. Starting with a walking tour of Medieval Kilkenny after our Mass at the Kilkenny Cathedral of St. Mary. Time in Kilkenny Design Centre. Free time for lunch, shopping, exploring or prayer. Over the heath-covered Wicklow Mountains. Guided tour of the 6th Century Monastic site of St. Kevin at Glendalough, then on to our lovely Iveagh Garden Hotel for a free evening.

Travel over the Cork/Kerry border to Blarney Castle to see and kiss the famous Blarney Stone Time to shop in the extensive Blarney Woolen Mills with gifts and crafts from throughout Ireland Then on to the impressive Rock of Cashel, Ireland’s most famous ancient religious site especially related to Saint Patrick where Steve gave his short talk on St. Patrick. Ireland 5 Mass at St. Mary’s Cathedral, Horsedrawn Carriage Ride, Ring of Kerry, Irish Dinner, Music & Dance

Celebrated Mass at St. Mary’s Cathedral before a horse and buggy ride through the National Park. Back to the bus to drive around the natural beauty of the Ring of Kerry. Return through Sneem, traveling over the mountains To visit the grounds and gardens of Muckross Park. We return to the hotel to freshen up. Then a rousing evening with a traditional Irish dinner at Muckross Quills Farmhouse Kitchen with local musicians and dancers. Returned

Ireland 4 Bunratty Castle, Limerick, Mass in Adare, on to Killarney

Departed for the Bunratty Castle with time to explore the Castle and the authentic 15th century village folk park. Excellent lunch choices. Continued on past Limerick City. We initiated a limerick creation contest on the bus. They will be judged by our guide and driver, Owen and Ted. Celebrated Mass in the Trinitarian Church in Adare. Driving through beautiful farmland with cows and sheep and quaint little villages and towns. Lovely drive south to Kerry
