Walked to Mass at Notre Dame de Passy before boarding a boat for the famous Parisian “bateaux-mouches”, a scenic river cruise where we saw all of the most beautiful sites of Paris from the River Seine. Started our day at St. Vincent de Paul Chapel To visit and venerate his incorrupt body. A walk to visit the Chapel of the Miraculous Medal where the Blessed Mother appeared to Saint Catherine Laboure. Celebrated Mass at the main alter at the site of the apparitions and in front of St. Catherine’s incorrupt body. Early morning for the long drive to Chartres for our Sunday morning Mass at Chartres Cathedral. Fr. James concelebrated a public Mass with all the locals. Lots of young people! After Mass we were honored to have a celebrity and the primo expert on the Cathedral. Many of us bought his definitive and encyclopedic book.
