First Day With Pilgrimage Group in Rome

Everyone arrived in good order today for our first day in Rome. We had a good tour of the Roman Forum in ancient Rome.

We also went underground in the Church San Clemente which houses the bones of two of my favorite apostolic fathers.
We walked through first century Rome for the apostles walked.

We all went back to the hotel for nice mass and a good dinner and much-needed bed.

One of our pilgrims named Anne fell today and broke her arm. However, she was well taken care of, in good spirits and will be flying home tomorrow to have surgery upon her arrival. Please pray for her – she’s a great lady.
