France 1-2: Fly to Paris, St. Thérèse of Lisieux, Pont-Audemer

Day 1 marks the flights from the United States to Paris. Day 2 we call “Arrivals Day”. We all met at the Charles de Gaulle airport at 8:30 and after the last flight arrived, we pulled out of the airport around 9:30 AM. We drove west across France heading for Lisieux.

We had a quick lunch in a classy restaurant rest area. Then we visited”Le Buissonnets”, the family home where St. Therese spent her childhood, then the Carmelite convent where St. Therese lived until her death. We prayed at her tomb. She is not an incorrupt.

after Mass at the crypt in Basilica of St. Thèrése. Arrived in Pont-Audemer for hotel check-in Belle-Isle sur Risle-Chateau Hotel on a small wooded island. And what a fantastic mouthwatering dinner!
