Full & Fun Final Day: Jericho, Camels, Dead Sea, Jordan River…
by Steve Ray on April 12, 2018
The last day is always fun and exciting.
We started off the day with Mass and breakfast at the beautiful and elegant Notre Dame Center. Father Courtney gave another wonderful homily to summarize the trip and to bless all the religious items.
From the Israel Museum to the Jordan River and from Jericho to Qumran.
In Jerusalem we are 3000 feet above sea level and we descend into the Judean Wilderness to the Jordan River which is the lowest place on the face of the earth which is 1250 feet below sea level.
But what everybody loves best is floating in the Dead Sea and riding the camels! 🐪 🐫
