Ray-Hahn Holy Land Pilgrimage Day 3

by Steve Ray on May 26, 2011

PART 1: Starting the day with emotional renewal of wedding vows in Cana of Galilee. Then to Nazareth for Mass at the very cave where the angel Gabriel arrived with the greeting “Hail, you who have been made full of grace.” It was a great event. We toured the house of the Holy Family then had a great lunch in a medieval castle – well at least it felt like it.

PART II: Great lunch in Nain which is a biblical city where Jesus raised a dead man. Then to Mount Tabor where the Transfiguration took place – including the exciting ride up and down the mountain and more.

Ciao and Shalom Steve & Janet!

I’m still floating on a cloud after the Rome pilgrimage, and I’m enjoying watching the current pilgrims experiencing the Holy Land, especially since I’ve been there with you too.

I’ve been looking at the videos for my friends Arvid and Jean Edson and finally saw them at the renewal of vows at Cana. Tell them not to be so camera-shy!

Hey Jean & Arvid! Get in front of the camera more often – Deb, Diane and I are watching! We are also praying for you and are anticipating the joys we know you will experience in the days ahead.

Finally, Steve & Janet, there are many things I can thank you for, and the one thing I appreciate the most is the testimony of your actions as a loving couple. You’ve demonstrated that real men are not afraid to kiss their wives in public!

May God continue to bless us all,

    Felix Marquez
