Janet and I have been in Israel the last 10 days working on the script for our new Footprints of God DVD on Abraham. It will be entitled “Abraham, Father of Faith and Works.”

Besides writing we have been driving around Israel and the Palestinian areas to review all of the places related to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

In two days will be flying to Iraq to start our filming at Ur of ancient Mesopotamia and along the Tigris and Euphrates Rivers. Then we move on to Haran Turkey to film several segments there. The rest of the filming will be done in June in Israel and the Palestinian Territories.

We plan to have the movie released by Christmas of 2014. Please pray for us and our crew and Ignatius Press that is funding this huge 10-part documentary series.

If you’d like to learn more about our project or help support it financially you can visit our website at www.FOGHELP.com. We have a tax-deductible account set up through Ignatius Press that is helping fund the project.

Quiz question: what is the only place where we know the whole Trinity walked on the face of the earth?

Don’t look at the comments below and tell you’ve figured out for yourself 🙂

  • Robin Poe says:

The whole Trinity walked on the face of the earth at the Vale of Mambre. “And the Lord appeared to him in the vale of Mambre as he was sitting at the door of his tent, in the very heat of the day. And when he had lifted up his eyes, there appeared to him three men standing near him: and as soon as he saw them he ran to meet them from the door of his tent, and adored down to the ground. And he said: Lord, if I have found favour in thy sight, pass not away from thy servant: But I will fetch a little water, and wash ye your feet, and rest ye under the tree. And I will set a morsel of bread, and strengthen ye your heart, afterwards you shall pass on: for therefore are you come aside to your servant. And they said: Do as thou hast spoken.” Genesis 18:1-5. It is instructive how the text shifts from the singular (one) to the plural (three) form. The eastern churches have a wonderful icon of the Holy Trinity sitting at the table of Abraham under the appearance of three identical angels.
