From Jerusalem to Cana & Nazareth, to Tiberias
by Steve Ray on November 17, 2008
On Sunday we said Good-bye to Jerusalem and headed north to Galilee. Along the way we heard Mark Brumley’s conversion story on the buses and Roy Schoeman explained many fascinating things about Judaism and Christianity. Myself and the other guides took advantage of the time on the buses to share many things.
Our first stop was Cana of Galilee where we visited the Wedding Church where Jesus changed water into wine (John 2:1-11). Here the married couples renewed their wedding vows. Then to Nazareth to visit Mary’s Well, the House (cave) of the Holy Family and then to the Church of Annunciation. It was here that Gabriel spoke to Mary and the Incarnation began. The altar in the Grotto where we had Mass has written on it the words, “The Word Became Flesh HERE!”

Sending a shout-out to Susan Bonner. Just letting her know the group from St. Martin de Porres is thinking about and praying for her. We huddled around the computer on Friday morning just to catch a glimpse of her.
Also, were sending a special shout-out to Steve Ray from your Fan Club in Dripping Springs, TX. We love converts, we learn so much from them!
that is so beautiful! renewing your vows right in Cana…
