What is Holy Land Part 2?
by Steve Ray on January 28, 2014
We thought that we would take a small group with a new emphasis. Many thousands have traveled with us to the Holy Land for all the highlights and Rosary sites. We had Masses in all the most holy places in Israel.
But what if we took past pilgrims to all new sites? What if we had all our Masses with the local Christians, the bishop, the seminarians? What if we had some meals with the local Christians, for our edification and their’s?
We have seen the ancient stones (archaeological and historical sites), now we will see more of that but also meet the LIVING STONES, the persecuted Christians still paying the price to live here and maintain a Christian presence.
Well that is what we did. We are on our first day and it is proving to be an adventuresome and unified group. We are in for a delightful 11 days. Stay tuned.
Day One, Arrival and overnight in Tel Aviv.
Mom and Dad –
Great to see you arrived safely. The kids enjoyed the video. Devan says he would love to see some pictures of Bethlehem. Not much is open here with sub-zero temps all day. Glad you can be walking along the Mediterranean. Have a wonderful and meaningful journey!
Love,
Scott, Julie, Devan, John, Sarah, Aaron, and Kira
